Why I love the front passenger seat...

Ever since I got a Flip, I find myself wanting to videotape everything! So this past weekend, I took some clips of a little road trip we were on...

At one point during our day, we came upon this little road that followed a small stream:

And later on in the day, our GPS system told us to take a dirt road:

I don't know about you, but we love driving on dirt/gravel roads! (Well, "we" means everyone in my family but my dad... he's not a fan of muddy cars.)

On a totally different note, remember a year ago when I tried making sushi pops? Yesterday a little birdy (a.k.a. Sue) shared some exciting news:

Pop Star: Abigayl in New York

That's right- my little pops are listed on Bakerella's website!! Since she is such a talented and creative person, I'm particularily honored that she's chosen to list my pops on her amazing website!

Thanks for stopping by- I hope you have a great Thursday!

I'm flipping out!

This weekend, the Easter Bunny totally spoiled me- look what I found in my Easter basket:
It's true- I'm now the proud owner of a Flip! On the way home from work yesterday, I decided to play with it for the first time. So without further ado, here is a brief Flip video I made:

I realize I'm not going to win an Oscar any time soon, but this new technology is pretty fun!

Now, I have to admit... that was my second attempt at a video... here's what happened 2 minutes before:

Not only did I film that with the protective plastic still on the camera lens, but I also inadvertently taped a homeless man sleeping on a bench. This clip definitely won't make it to Sundance!

And on a completely different note, I'm guest posting on my friend Joanne's blog today. Here's a little teaser:
I hope you have a wonderful day- thanks for stopping by!

Just had to share this...

SFS's roommate showed this to us last night, and I was cracking up...
