I love lip gloss. I use it constantly. I have lip gloss in ever room in my apartment (even the kitchen). When I go out, I get nervous that I might forget to take some with me, so I keep at least one kind in every purse I own. Over the years, I've tried all sorts of kinds: sparkly, shiny, tinted, etc... but my absolute favorite is Smith's.
They make lots of different kinds- but I think the "Minted Rose" flavor is best. You can sometimes find it in specialty drug stores, and
Sephora always has a bunch near the check out. But do you know what happened the other day?
That's right- I ran out! It was a momentous event, since I'd never completely used a whole tin. I usually have unfortunate accidents that prevent me from finishing the whole container. I've left them in pants pockets in the washing machine/dryer, they've melted to puddles in my car on a summer day, they've falling out of my purse down the sewer grate... and the list goes on.
Are you getting the picture? But this poor little tin has been jumbled around in my purse for weeks now... and it's finally being retired. So I took a moment to photograph it with it's replacement.
So how about a toast? Here's to my new tin of lip gloss- may I not lose it before it's empty!
