Oh, and to answer your question... the trees are all still pretty green in NYC. But that didn't stop me from taking my stroll. I know this is a weird little detail, but I like how all the cracks in the cobblestones are full of acorns. Don't you?
This bench went on forever... can you tell from this picture?
I was really enjoying my stroll through the park.
I took pictures of bridges...
And very explicit running paths.
And since dusk was setting in, the light posts had all come on!
And just when I was about to leave the park, look what I found:
A ginkgo tree that was half-way through it's color change!
I was so excited!
It was such a beautiful tree... I could have taken a million pictures!
But that could've been bad! So, I took my leave of Central Park.
Wow- how lame am I? Thanks for stopping by and enduring my goofy joke- I hope you have a wonderful day!

Not too dark to walk in the park...
I'm not a proponent of walking in Central Park after dark, for the obvious reasons. But when I left work the other day, the sun hadn't quite set, so I decided to wander around for a bit. To be honest, I was really curious to see if any of the trees had started to change color.
Can you tell what kind of tree is in the picture above? Those tell-tale leaves really give the ginkgo tree away, right? We love ginkgo trees in my family. We planted one in our yard when my grandpa passed away, and ever since I've always considered it a special tree. So you can imagine how much I love to see ginkgo trees all over the city.
